Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL), a group company of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), is one of India's leading public sector oil refining companies. Incorporated in 1965 and headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, CPCL operates major refineries, primarily the Manali Refinery, which is amongst the most complex in South India, with a current refining capacity of around 10.5 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA). The company produces a variety of petroleum products, including LPG, petrol, diesel, kerosene, aviation turbine fuel, and naphtha, catering to both the domestic and export markets.
