Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT), established in 1943 and headquartered in Kochi, Kerala, is one of India’s oldest and largest public sector fertilizer and chemicals manufacturing companies. FACT operates primarily in the production and marketing of fertilizers and industrial chemicals, notably complex fertilizers such as ammonium phosphate and ammonium sulphate, catering to the agricultural sector as well as several key industries. The company maintains manufacturing complexes at Udyogamandal and Kochi, and operates an extensive distribution network across India, with a strong focus in southern states.

FACT is a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. Over the decades, it has expanded its product portfolio to include a wide array of fertilizers and chemical products, including trading and handling of imported fertilizers.
