Upper Circuit stocks, No sellers: Stock Insights
The Indian stock market is booming again. After a few peaceful days, some small- and mid-cap companies are back in the news, this time because they struck their upper circuit with only buyers in the queue.
When you hear that a stock has hit the upper circuit or has only buyers, it means something exciting is happening in the market.
In this instance, the market is usually doing well, there has been good news lately, or people think positive things will happen in the future.
For now, a lot of small- and mid-cap stocks hit their upper circuit limits today. This means that a lot of people were buying and not many were selling.
Art Nirman’s construction firm expanded by about 10%, and both G-Tec Jainx and Cambridge Tech saw gains in the software industry. Megasoft and Sejal Glass both experienced a 5% increase, with Sejal Glass hitting ₹940.
The Guj Lease Fin and Future Market also rose by almost 5%. In general, investors were delighted with the banking, IT, and construction industries. These adjustments are based on momentum, so investors should watch trends and do their own research before investing.
Below is a list of some upper circuit stocks currently showing strong buying pressure – meaning they’ve hit the upper circuit and have only buyers in the market.

Understanding Upper Circuit Stocks
In simple words, every stock exchange sets daily limits on how much a stock price can move up or down, called circuit limits.
When a stock’s price reaches this upper limit and there are no sellers, it is said to be “locked in the upper circuit”.
This means that a lot of people want the stock.
No sellers are offering shares at that price.
Trading stops automatically once the price limit is reached.
Such moments can reflect strong investor confidence, but they also call for careful analysis.
What It Means for Investors
When a stock hits the upper circuit, it might seem like a great opportunity, but it’s not always the right time to buy. There aren’t many sellers; therefore, liquidity is limited, which makes it hard to buy such a stock. In the short term, prices may keep going up, but they could also suddenly drop.
Before making a decision, investors should look into the basics of the company.
Watch for news triggers such as results, acquisitions, or policy changes.
Avoid chasing stocks just because they’re trending.
